The Many Uses of Baking Soda

Baking soda is an absolute staple in my house! There are so many uses for it, its really almost a cure-for-all! Much like duct tape. And everybody knows how useful that stuff is! In this post, I'll be sharing with you my favorite uses for baking soda. if anyone has additional uses, feel free to add them!






1. face and body scrub: this stuff is great for cleaning. Especially if you hate abrasive scrubs that leave your skin feeling beaten up!

2. toothpaste: Mixed with a little bit of peroxide, it makes a good and effective way to keep your chompers clean!!

3. skin softener: add a few spoonfuls to your bath water and it will soften your skin!

4. flower life: adding a teaspoon will keep your flowers longer.

5. Odor absorbing: keeping an open container in the fridge keeps any odors away!

6. Beans:  Soak dried beans in a baking soda solution to make them more digestable

7. Toilet Cleaner: Sprinkling some in the toilet, let it sit for a bit and then flushing will cut down on any odor.

8. laundry boost: Sprinkling some inside the washer will boost your detergents cleaning power like crazy!

9. Steele and Chrome cleaner: mix with water to form a paste in order to clean stainless steel and chrome!

10. Hair Clarifying: Mixing wit your shampoo will help get out any product buildup and clarify your hair and scalp!
