Super Dungeon Bros

Nerdy Curve Blog | Super Dungeon Bros

One of the more recent Games with Gold games I downloaded was Super Dungeon Bros. If you didn't know, my top 3 favorite types of games are First Person Shooters, Fighting games, and Dungeon games. In that order also. I figured I'd give it a try and I'd be lying if i said the name of this game didn't make me giggle a bit. There are four different types of 'Bros' to choose from (or you can be a Broette!), each with their own personality and weapons style. This is a four player game too which makes it even more fun. Although I only have 2 controllers, the possibility of having more players is awesome since most games are 2 players at most.

In Super Dungeon Bros, you go through a dungeon and fight against creatures such as skeletons and one eyed bat things.

There are some cool things you can do in addition to fighting. You can stack your Bro on your shoulders and then toss them around. You also have a super move that does more damage.  Another cool things is the threat meter. As you progress through the dungeon, the threat meter seems to climb (fast in my opinion, but that could just be me). Once it gets to the top its like all hell breaks loose. There are skeletons and archers EVERYWHERE.

Overall this game was kinda cool to play, but there were a few places that were glitchy. For example, there is a part of the game where you have to jump on platforms to keep going through. On my game, the platforms were gone. Missing completely. I even looked up walkthroughs to see if there was something that I wasn't doing, but I did the same exact things in the videos I watched. The platforms were just gone, and I wasn't able to go forward with the game, so as it stands right now, I'm stuck until they patch the game. There was also a bit of lag. Not enough to stop the game completely, but enough to be annoying. I'm interested in seeing what the rest of the game is like after the platform part. Hopefully I'll be able to see that soon.

This game is on XBox One, have you downloaded it yet? I'm not sure if it's still on Games with Gold, but if it is, you should definitely give it a try.

lotsa love to ya!
