Nerdy Curve is formally Evon Von. This blog has gone through re-branding at the moment!

Hello, my name is Von, welcome to my piece of Internet real estate! I love video games, anime, cosplay, and comic books. I would definitely consider myself to be a nerd, and I embrace it wholeheartedly! There's nothing better than being yourself, no matter what you are into! Being different is okay, never feel ashamed for being unique! I am a wife, mother and a goofball. I love to make people smile, and I love to have fun. Sometimes (okay, maybe A LOT of times) I laugh at my own jokes, no matter how lame they are. An opportunistic movie quoter, and singer of random songs. You shouldn't take life so seriously! Who needs unneeded stress? Not me! Life is chaotic, and random, and wonderful. I share a lot of things here about myself some more personal than others. We all go through our ups and downs, great times, and frustrations, but I always try to look for a lesson learned.

I am a lover of all things Cosplay. Having the opportunity to pay homage to a character you love is so much fun. I love pretending to be someone else for a day. A nice break from everyday life is always a breath of fresh air. Cosplaying has been such a fun, difficult and exciting experience for me so far, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Each year I work on several costumes, and I will be posting my progress on here so that you can keep up with me. I try to go to Conventions as much as possible. Although I don't always make it to too many Cons, the ones I do attend I share my experiences here. I love to connect with people, especially other cosplayers. I'm also a fan of anime, with High School of the Dead being my current favorite. I'm a semi active gamer on PC and Xbox (both one and 360), but you'll usually find me on Xbox.  Currently I'm playing a lot of Injustice: Gods Among Us, and DCU Online. Feel free to add me on Xbox, my gamertag is EVONVON!
